After a pretty delving discussion with my Dad, I found out that there are two things in life that lead to happiness. One is the journey to a result. The second is the result itself. Having a bad journey, but a good result obviously gives you happiness. But this happiness is short-lived as the circle restarts and the painful journey begins once again. But having a nice journey gives you more happiness. If the result is bad, the sadness is short lived as the circle restarts and you once again you begin your alleviating journey. Accomplishing both the journey and the result in happiness is often unrealistic. Some accomplish this only a few times in their lives. Thus i believe that no matter how the end results, one should strive to make the journey there the happiest part of the trip.
